LOCAL MUSIC VENUE TO HAVE LAST SHOW THIS WEEKEND!

After more than 15 years on the music scene, Saturday night will be the last show at Hi Tone Cafe.  The owner sites the reasons for closing as rising booking costs, lowered attendance and structural issues with the building.  The Hi Tone will go out in style with local acts playing into the wee hours of the morning. Eric Friedl and the rest of his band the Oblivians will help music fans close out the Hi-Tone Cafe, the Midtown venue that anchored the Memphis music scene for more than 15 years. The Barbaras and DJ Matty also are scheduled to perform.
