The American Music Awards brought out all the glittery stops in Los Angeles, as stars took it in turn to stun on the red carpet. Brilliant beaded ensembles and embellished mini dresses were a popular choice, as were decadent curve-hugging evening gowns. Nicki Minaj wowed the crowd by keeping it classy in a vibrant Monique Lhuillier number, and Gwen Stefani flaunted her rocker edge in an ornate blazer and exposed bra top by Balmain. 

Stacey Keibler showed off her statuesque figure in a sparkly number that echoed a similar party girl vibe as seen on Taylor Swift and Kelly Rowland, while Jenny McCarthy proved that the '80s are back and better than ever in an edgy look that begged to be noticed.
