Ashlee Simpson is back…and she's bringing a little sexy with her.
The 28-year-old "Pieces of Me" crooner debuted her new single, "Bat for a Heart," from her upcoming fourth album Wednesday morning, and after teasing fans for almost three weeks, released the song's full length accompanying video.
Wearing only a top in most shots, Simpson tosses her platinum blonde hair around and even dances in pointe shoes at one point, as she sings in a fierce tone about a relationship gone bad.
The black and white video (which contains language that may be offensive to some listeners) shows a more grown up, rocker chic side of Ashlee, which has her singing lyrics like, "I'm gonna bang, bang, f--ck you up, twist you out inside of my head."
"Wow, thanks everybody for checking out a peek of my new music & for all the love! It means so much to me," Simpson wrote when she released a 50-second teaser of the video Nov. 1. "Shout out to @kristinburns & @justincoloma for making this video on a shoe string. A labor of love. And to @reallindaperry for creating this music with me! So much more ahead. Thank you!"
So, tell us, what do you think about Ashlee's new single?
