OXFORD, Miss. (AP) - An arrest has been made in connection with a bomb threat directed at Ole Miss football players.
The Clarion-Ledger reports (http://on.thec-l.com/QEn1BM) 35-year-old Collin Jones, of Oxford, was arrested and charged Monday with false reporting of a bomb threat.
Bond was set at $10,000.
A 911 call early on Sept. 18 indicated that bombs had been placed under football players' cars at Lexington Pointe apartments.
Police investigated the claim for several hours and found no credible threat.
It was unclear whether Jones has an attorney.
