RUTLEDGE, Tenn. (AP) - The Tennessee Department of Veterans Affairs is looking to reach veterans in Grainger and Claiborne counties during an outreach event in Rutledge.
The state veterans department is partnering with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the American Legion, Walters State Community College and the Tennessee Valley Coalition to End Homelessness.
Representatives from these agencies and other community organizations will be at the American Legion Post (hash)119 on Friday to assist local veterans with information about benefits, entitlements and disability compensation claims.
Veterans are encouraged to bring their DD-214 form and any service-related documents.
