JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - One man died and another is recovering from a shooting in north Jackson.

Police spokeswoman Colendula Green tells WLBT TV (http://bit.ly/RwnVUO ) officers responded to shots fired around 5 a.m. Sunday.

Green says when officers arrived at the scene they found two man had been shot.

Investigators say an unidentified 29-year-old man was transported to a local hospital where he later died.

Another 30-year-old man was shot in the shoulder.

Green said his wounds were not life threatening.

No motive has been determined, and no suspects have been identified.
