JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - A storm system dumped heavy rain on parts of central and north Mississippi and four people were injured in Sharkey County when high winds toppled a mobile home near Anguilla. In Union County, emergency management officials reported several mobile homes were blown off their foundations near Myrtle but there were no injuries.
HERNANDO, Miss. (AP) - DeSoto County Schools grew by 400-plus students this year, helping the district maintain its status as Mississippi's largest public school district. The 2012-13 K-12 enrollment climbed to 32,759 students.

BILOXI, Miss. (AP) - Authorities are looking for a Biloxi man after the discovery of 2 homes retrofitted with elaborate ventilation and lighting systems and thriving indoor crops of hydroponic marijuana. Narcotics agents say they seized 372 pounds of hydroponic marijuana plants from two homes in the subdivision off Mississippi 15 near Biloxi.
