MEMPHIS, Tenn. (FOX13) -

Two 19-year-old men have been arrested by Memphis police homicide investigators in connection the Oct. 9 homicide of a woman who was banking at an ATM.

James Holmes was charged with first degree murder, criminal attempt felony to wit first degree murder, criminal attempt felony to wit of carjacking, and employment of a firearm.

Bishardo Higgs has been charged with criminal attempt felony to wit especially aggravated robbery.

Homicide detectives said Holmes fessed up to the killing and implicated Higgs, who was taken into custody soon after.

Holmes and Higgs allegedly killed 44-year-old postal employee Runeccia Luster while she was banking in her car at an Orion Federal Credit Union ATM on South Perkins. She died after being shot twice.

Moments later down the road Holmes and Higgs allegedly tried to carjack a motorist. The motorist was shot as well, but was able to escape. The victim was treated and released.

In the wake of the murder, a $10,000 reward was offered by Orion Federal Credit Union for the apprehension of the two suspects.

Both murder suspects are expected to make their first appearance in court on Thursday.

Funeral arrangements have been made for Ms. Luster and the public is invited to attend. The wake is Friday, Oct. 19, from 5-8 p.m. at MJ Edwards Funeral Home, 5494 Elvis Presley Blvd.

On Saturday, Oct. 20, there will be a viewing from 1-2 p.m., at Brown Missionary Baptist Church in Southaven, Miss., located off State Line Road. The funeral will follow at 2 p.m.
