Ark. inmate walks away from community service

ASH FLAT, Ark. (AP) - Authorities in north Arkansas say a 34-year-old inmate walked away from community service at the Sharp County courthouse.

The Sharp County Sheriff's office said in a news release that Christy Lee Vissering walked away from the courthouse on Thursday.

The sheriff's office says Vissering had been in jail since Aug. 31 on charges of criminal impersonation and a felony warrant out of Texas' Titus County for failure to appear on a credit card abuse charge.

Authorities say they suspect Vissering is with her husband, Billy Rosewell.

The sheriff's office says a felony warrant for escape has been issued for Vissering.
