OLIVE BRANCH, Miss. (FOX13) -

What happens in Vegas followed three school employees back to Olive Branch.

The prosecutor in the case involving three Olive Branch Middle School administrators embezzling the school's funds says some of the money was used to purchase lawn care, Yankees baseball tickets, personal vehicle repair and a trip to a conference in Las Vegas.

On Thursday, the Olive Branch Police Department released that the middle school's former principal, assistant principal and bookkeeper were arrested and charged with embezzling $10,000 from multiple accounts at the middle school.

The prosecutor says cash transactions between $200 and $500 were made at a time.

He says there was "one central bad guy" that was involved in this embezzlement ring, adding that evidence points to all three former school employees playing a part in the theft but one person was the primary recipient of the money.

Olive Branch Police Chief Donald Gammage says their investigation initially focused on the 2011-12 school year, but then had to go back another year to find when the embezzling began.
