KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Knoxville Green Party candidate Bryan Moneyhun knows he has no real chance to unseat State Rep. Bill Dunn, but he feels just getting on the ballot is a victory.

Moneyhun is 1 of 11 Green Party candidates in Tennessee who got onto ballots after the state Supreme Court ruled in May that the party could pick candidates by convention rather than through a primary.

Moneyhun told the Knoxville News Sentinel (http://bit.ly/Tz6d5m) that if elected, he would be a strong advocate for the environment.

Moneyhun called incumbent Republican Dunn a "fine man," but said many voters are concerned that everything is in the hands of the two major parties. He says his number one issue is preventing the political process from being monopolized.
