FRANKLIN, Tenn. (AP) - The Tennessee Highway Patrol and Williamson County law enforcement officials are thinking about the future.
The Williamson County Sheriff's Office, as well as Brentwood and Franklin police, will join state troopers in showcasing components of their agencies to high school criminal justice students on Thursday.
Fourteen honor students were selected by their teachers to attend a leadership luncheon with the county sheriff and chiefs of police for Brentwood and Franklin.
Franklin Police Chief David Rahinsky says if just 1 of the students chooses a career in public safety, "our time was well spent."
