FORT SMITH, Ark. (AP) - An Arkansas man faces probation revocation for allegedly threatening a police department and an Oklahoma courthouse after his sons were arrested on Oklahoma murder charges.
The Southwest Times Record reported Wednesday http://bit.ly/T7VPNz that Gerry Lynn Thacker pleaded not guilty in connection with the petition to revoke his 3-year suspended sentence for marijuana possession Sebastian County.
The petition was filed after Thacker allegedly threatened to shoot everyone in the LeFlore County Okla., courthouse if his sons are sentenced to death and to blow up the Cedarville, Ark., Police Department.
Thacker's two sons are charged in the death of Briana Jane Ault of Fort Smith, whose body was found in a pond in Pocola, Okla., in 2010. A prosecutor says he hasn't decided whether to seek the death penalty.
