MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - A second chemical plant worker has died following an explosion in Memphis.

WMC-TV (http://bit.ly/WuaSHt ) reported that Jeff Laird died over the weekend. Laird and Gregory McKnight were injured Sept. 24 in the incident at the PennAKem plant. Gregory died two days after the explosion.

Ten other workers in the plant escaped injury.

An investigation into the explosion continues.
