NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The city of North Little Rock says the restoration of a tugboat that made it through the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor is nearing completion, as are efforts to have it transported to the Arkansas River.
North Little Rock has scheduled a fundraiser for Saturday at the city's Inland Maritime Museum, where the USS Razorback submarine is docked along the Arkansas River.
Organizers have been working for months to raise money to fund the restoration and transport.
The Hoga is dry docked at Vallejo, Calif., where the vessel is being restored.
