Friends forever! There's nothing like the bond of having a best buddy! One organization is making it a mission to pair special needs adults and children with people who do not have disabilities.
This morning Melissa Todd joined Joey Sulipeck to talk about Best Buddies moving to Memphis.
"My best friend, Kristen Barek and I are doing everything we can to raise the money to bring Best Buddies here to Memphis. We are working towards this goal. We are two moms on a mission."
Tonight is their big fund raiser. They are hoping tonight gets them closer to their goal to have the funds to open the officer here in Memphis.
The Best Buddies Gala is tonight at 7:30pm-11pm at Esplanade. Tickets are $50 and you can buy them at the door. There will be a silent auction, h'orderves, live band and much more.
