WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. (FOX13) -

Police are aggressively searching for Bobby L. Robinson, who allegedly shot and killed Carlos Mitchell early Tuesday morning on North 26th Street in a West Memphis, Ark., apartment.

Carlos Mitchell, 29, was found by first responders with a gunshot wound. He was taken to Crittenden Regional Hospital, where he later died.

After interviewing witnesses police developed 27-year-old Robinson as the primary suspect, who fled the crime scene after the deadly encounter.

Mr. Mitchell's death is the sixth homicide this year in West Memphis.
