Six men robbed a home Saturday night in the 4700 block of Buttermilk Drive in Southeast Memphis.

Shelby County Deputizes say the couple wasn't home when the robbers kicked in the back door, but when they did come home deputies say the suspects pointed their guns at them and demanded money.

Then the assailants tied the couple up with duct tape and assaulted them.

The robbers stole several items  and took off in the couple's 2006 Chevy van.

The wife was able to cut herself free and run to a neighbor's house to call police.
