Memphis police homicide investigators are searching for the person or persons who shot and killed a 21-year-old man inside a car at Polly Williams Park.

Police discovered the victim, identified as Jerry Adams, at around 8:20 a.m. on Dec. 10, inside a four-door Mercury after they received a suspicious car report at Whitaker and Auburn.

Upon further inspection Mr. Allen, who was sitting in the driver's seat, suffered an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased.
