Dr. Lasimba Gray, pastor of New Sardis Baptist Church, gave teen mother Princess Gibbs and her 4-year-old son help to fully furnish her apartment.

Church members rallied together to help her after a Commercial Appeal article showed Gibbs with her son in an empty apartment with just beds for the two of them.

Not only do they have new furniture, Gibbs starts school to get her GED in January, and her son starts kindergarten in less than a year.
