TUPELO, Miss. (AP) - A Tupelo man is scheduled for trial on Feb. 5 in Lee County in the 2011 fatal shooting of 2 people.

The Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal reports (http://bit.ly/TJheBE) that 27-year-old Travon Brown is charged with two counts of murder.

Prosecutors say he is charged in the shooting deaths of 22-year-old Cornellius Harris and 36-year-old Felicia Ruffin. Their bodies were found in the home they shared on Sept. 28, 2011.

Authorities say Brown was found in the bathroom of the home and was treated for an injury to his hand.

Brown is being held in the Lee County Adult Detention Center on a $1 million bond.
