GREENVILLE, Miss. (AP) - A bond of $2.5 million has been set for a 36-year-old man charged in a fatal shooting last Friday in downtown Greenville.
Police Sgt. Michael Merchant tells the Delta Democrat Times reports (http://bit.ly/RtqeJh) that bond was set for Rico Brown during an initial appearance Monday in city court.
Merchant says Brown turned himself in Sunday. Brown was charged with murder and two counts of aggravated assault.
Washington County Coroner Methel Johnson says 31-year-old Quincy Antonio Reed died of multiple gunshot wounds. Two other people injured in the shooting were treated and released from a local hospital.
