Memphis police are on the scene in the 1800 block of Parnassus at what they are preliminarily calling an attempted murder-suicide.

Officers found two shooting victims. One person was pronounced dead while the other victim is in critical condition at the house.

Police say the victim and the shooter are neighbors.

The shootings remain under investigation.
