LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas Gov. Mike Beebe is expected to preview this year's legislative session in an address to the Political Animals Club.
The Democratic governor is to speak to the club at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Grand Hall at the Governor's Mansion.
The club meets regularly to hear from Arkansas elected officials and other leaders.
Beebe's speech comes a day after his final State of the State address to a joint session of the state Legislature.
The governor is urging lawmakers to expand the state's Medicaid program under the federal health care law and to work together during the session.
