Another member of the Ford family is back in the news but it's only about what she had to say.

State Senator Ophelia Ford of Memphis lightened the mood at a committee meeting in Nashville.  Lawmakers were talking about a proposal that would allow handgun carry permit holders to store firearms in their vehicles no matter where they are parked.

The "Guns in Cars" Bill is currently being considered by state lawmakers.
