The TACT Unit is on the scene where a armed man has barricaded himself inside an apartment in the 400 block of Beale.

Officers were responding to a possible disturbance.  "After arriving on the scene, officers encountered a mental consumer who armed himself with a knife. He then ran into the apartment and has barricaded himself inside.

There are no reported injuries at this time. This scene is active.
