Woman arrested at Biloxi casino

BILOXI, Miss. (AP) - A D'Iberville woman has been arrested for alleging trying to cash out $600 in counterfeit gambling chips at Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville Casino in Biloxi.

Dave Kingman, with the Mississippi Gaming Commission, tells the Sun Herald (http://bit.ly/SSI9E4 ) that 41-year-old Jolanda Michelle Hart was arrested Sunday on six counts of possession of counterfeit chips.

Kingman says Hart is accused of going to a cashier's cage with six counterfeit chips that each had a face value of $100. King says authorities are trying to determine how she got the chips.

Authorities say the cashier recognized that the chips had been altered.

Hart has been released on $30,000 bond.

If found guilty on all six counts, Hart faces maximum penalty of 12 years in prison and $60,000 in fines.
