Nashville church building burns, no one hurt

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Fire has destroyed the sanctuary of a Nashville church.

There were no injuries when the blaze broke out Sunday afternoon at Bell Road Church of the Nazarene. A passer-by alerted the pastor, who lives in a house next door to the church building.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Heavy rain has washed away at least one rural road, causing minor evacuations and flooding has closed some schools

No deaths or injuries were reported.
