Tenn. to release annual total of traffic deaths

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The state plans to release Tennessee's annual traffic fatality figures on Wednesday.

UT Martin wins $270K to prevent sexual assault

MARTIN, Tenn. (AP) - The University of Tennessee at Martin has won a $270,000 grant for its Personal Safety Empowerment Project.

250 Tenn. Guard troops to help with inauguration

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - Memphis-area dignitaries are getting a sneak-peek at the city's sprawling new Electrolux factory.

Jack Truong, president and CEO of Electrolux Major Appliances North America, led about 100 people on Tuesday's tour of the nearly-completed 750,000 square foot plant in Memphis.
