Pascagoula man killed in one-car accident

PASCAGOULA, Miss. (AP) - Police say a 22-year-old Pascagoula man died when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole.

Petal man faces arson charge

PETAL, Miss. (AP) - Petal Fire Department investigators have arrested a 29-year-old man on an arson of a dwelling charge.

The Hattiesburg American reports (http://hatne.ws/ZfsYbS ) Aquialius Antwane Dixon of Petal was booked into the Forrest County Jail on Thursday. He is held on a $50,000 bond.

Forrest Co. garbage bills to drop
