Man dies in industrial accident in Armorel

ARMOREL, Ark. (AP) - Company officials say a man has been killed in an industrial accident at a plant in northeast Arkansas.

Officials say the accident happened Saturday at the Precoat Metals plant near Armorel. Company representative Andrew Farrant says the victim was a technician who was doing maintenance work on a crane.

Men charged in alleged Ark. hazing plead guilty

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Four men charged with battery in a suspected hazing incident at Arkansas Tech University have pleaded guilty to a lesser charge.

The men pleaded guilty Monday to a misdemeanor charge of violation of hazing. The Russellville Courier reports (http://is.gd/uVfOu9 ) Judge William Pearson sentenced them to 90 days of probation.
