Christmas is supposed to be about joy, but for one North Memphis family it's anything but.

Their 10-year-old son died Tuesday afternoon in what police are describing as an accidental fatal gunshot wound to the abdomen.

One hundred MIFA volunteers helped distribute 800 meals to homebound seniors across the city on Christmas.

Seniors received hot, nutritious traditional Christmas dinner meals. They also received a gift bag filled with household and personal items.
