FRAYSER, Tenn. (FOX13) -

A Memphis police officer shot and killed an armed suspect and detained another Thursday afternoon after three armed subjects, reportedly robbed a McDonald's fast food restaurant in Frayser, police said.

Three days after a deadly triple shooting at Club Crave on Beale Street, city officials ordered it closed, and they hope for good.

Chains were placed on the club's doors as well as a nuisance sign Thursday afternoon.

Roswell, Ga., Police Department have issued a Levi's Call (Amber Alert) for two young boys who are believed to be with their father. 

Ben and Henry Cleary were last seen at a home in Roswell, Ga., and are believed to be traveling in a 2002 silver Jeep Grand Cherokee on I-40 on the west side of Nashville.

Tennessee state parks host Jan 1 hikes

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -

The Tennessee State Parks system is sponsoring hikes at the start of the new year to commemorate its 75th anniversary.

State Environment and Conservation Commissioner Bob Martineau says each state park will host its own special hike in the first few days of 2013.
