MEMPHIS, Tenn. (FOX13) -

The Tri-State Defender is sponsoring a Holiday parade this weekend downtown.

The parade route will pass 4th and Beale and will be the first time any parade route will go down the newly named Martin Luther King Jr. Ave.

Nearly 20 local schools will participate including High School football champs Whitehaven High.
