MILLINGTON, Tenn. (FOX13) -

A man armed with a gun in front of the First United Methodist Church in Millington, Tenn., was shot and wounded by police Sunday afternoon after the man refused to lower or drop his weapon, police said.

The police-involved shooting took place at around 2 p.m. in the 8000 Block of Wilkinsville near School.

BALDWYN, Miss. (AP) -

A Memphis woman was killed and two others injured in a single vehicle crash in Baldwyn, Miss.

The accident happened late Saturday night on Baldwyn-Ripley Road.

Prentiss County Coroner Greg Sparks tells the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal 23-year-old Ashley Gaston of Memphis, was killed in the crash.
