MEMPHIS, Tenn. (FOX13) -

Two brothers, who were convicted of murdering a Frayser woman in 2010,  were sentenced to a combined 552 years in jail.

Devon Brown and Kenneth Brown shot and killed Kimberly Jamerson at a cookout in 2010 over a $5 bag of weed. The Brown brothers also opened fire on the guest at the cookout, injuring another man.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (FOX13) -

A man and woman have been arrested after a sleeping Memphis man was beaten with a baseball bat Nov. Nov. 16 at a North Memphis home, police said.

Joseph Orman, 25, was arrested and charged with specially aggravated burglary and criminal attempted second degree murder in the attack.

UPDATE:  A West Tennessee Endangered Child Alert has been canceled for 3 year-old Daniel Chandler. He has been recovered by law enforcement and is safe.

The child was returned to the father.  The mother is still at large.
