A woman, in her 20's was found shot to death this morning at the Briar Club Apartments, near Ridgeway and Winchester in Hickory Hill area.  The call came in at 10:15 a.m. and she was pronounced dead on the scene.

Memphis Police say the circumstances leading up to the shooting are unknown.

The Coast Guard says a barge hit a railroad bridge and about 30 of the containers broke free from their tow.

So far half of the containers have been recovered and two sank. Crews are working to wrangle the rest.
