ASU's Convocation Center getting upgrades

JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) - The Convocation Center at Arkansas State University is getting a $2.2 million upgrade.

The center at the Jonesboro campus that seats 10,500 fans opened 25 years ago. The renovations include a new roof covering and some fresh technology.

Trial slated to begin in Arkansas fake bomb case

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - A judge has delayed the trial of an Arkansas who allegedly strapped what he said was a bomb to a woman's ankle and then tried to force her to withdraw money from a bank.

Paul Bradley's trial was to have started Monday in Fayetteville. Prosecutor John Threet says no new date has been set yet.
