Phishing scam targeting Memphis bank customers

A phishing scam is targeting Memphis area Regions Bank customers alerting them via text messages that their bank card has been temporarily suspended.

"They'll get what's coming to them,' said William Woodard, who received a text message saying his Regions Bank card has ben suspended.

But, he is not a Regions Bank

TN-TF1 aids in search, rescue in Moore
MOORE, Okla. (FOX13) -

Search and rescue crews from Tennessee Task Force One combed a field Wednesday in the Oklahoma City suburb of Moore, Okla., that was in the middle of the tornado's path.

FEMA officials ordered them to the field to look for a missing person during the second day of work for the search and rescue team from Memphis.

DOWNTOWN MEMPHIS, Tenn. (FOX13) -

It took a few more anxious hours than his family expected but Wednesday afternoon former death row inmate Timothy McKinney emerged from the jail at the Criminal Justice Center as a free man.

It came just a day after he agreed to a second-degree murder plea in exchange for more than 15 years of time served.
