City Leaders are asking for public input to rename three municipal parks: Confederate Park on the river, Jefferson Park also downtown, and Forrest Park in the Medical District.

The names, all tied to the confederate war effort were removed earlier this year.

The plans for a West Memphis Three memorial makeover are truly a community effort. After seeing a picture of the memorial in the local paper, community members made the plans and set up a fundraiser for Weaver Elementary School, where the memorial is located.
