Timothy McKinney pleads to a lesser charge
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (FOX13) -

After fifteen years in prison, Timothy McKinney will be released from prison later this afternoon.

Timothy McKinney was accused and convicted of fatally shooting Memphis policeman Don Williams in 1999 but it was later overturned and was granted a new trial.  Two more trials would follow and end in hung jury's.
