Tornado watch issued for much of Arkansas

BOTKINBURG, Ark. (AP) - Thunderstorms sweeping through Arkansas flipped an 18-wheeler and damaged homes in the north-central portion of the state. The National Weather Service said four people were reported injured after a tornado hit Van Buren County.

Beer tax bill headed to governor

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - A proposal to freeze the state's beer tax is headed to the governor for his consideration.

The measure was approved 87-2 in the House on Wednesday. The Senate approved it 30-1 earlier this week.

"Pugs will chew, but with the small shape of their mouth, they generally don't swallow things that large," said Jerry Dalton from Pug Rescue Network.
