MEMPHIS, Tenn. (FOX13) -

Darius Lang, the estranged husband of fallen officer Martoiya Lang, spent more than four hours on the stand Thursday in probate court.

Martoiya Lang was killed while in the line of duty in December 2012.

Probate Court Judge Robert Benham is expected to rule Friday on who will be the guardian of the four children and

DeSoto County Sheriff's first-ever substation is in full operation in Olive Branch.

The substation is located in the back of the Suzuki dealership on the service road, a space that was donated by Homer Skelton Ford. The dealership is picking up the cost of the light and water bill and the rent is free.

A rash of pharmacy break-ins in north Mississippi has police in Olive Branch, Southaven and Batesville comparing notes.

In all of the break-ins, the modus operandi has been the same, and the crimes also fit a group of crimes as far south as Montgomery, Ala.

A childhood friend of Woody Allen who co-wrote his movies "Bananas" and "Take the Money and Run" has died. Mickey Rose was 77.
