Hugh Jackman To Daniel Craig: 'Retire So I Can Be Bond!'
While we think that Hugh Jackman could be an amazing Bond, we have to admit that we're not ready to see Daniel Craig step down quite yet!Though, Hugh DOES have British parents and a British passport — despite having the Aussie accent. He has the credentials… but he had his chance. He was actually summoned for the role before Craig, but had to pass because he was off poppin' his claws as Wolverine!Here's what he said: “At the time it was wrong for me, but when I saw Daniel in the movie I thought maybe I should have been more interested, because it was great. But I am great mates with Daniel. When he was in Australia we caught up and, you know, no one could have played Bond better.”So that's it? Giving up hope? NO!“I will just wait. The good thing about Daniel is he’s, what, 62 now, isn’t he? He’s falling apart at the seams. So I just keep telling him, ‘I’m ready, whenever you want to let him go, I’m ready’. The good thing is I have also got a British passport.”LOLz!!
