Hillary Clinton Hospitalized Over Health Scare
We’re sending our best to Hillary Clinton today.The Secretary of State was hospitalized in New York after her doctors discovered a blood clot, which could become dangerous if it lodges in a vital organ.She is now being observed and expected to stay there for the next 48 hours.Philippe Reines, a deputy assistant secretary, commented that she is being treated with anti-coagulants. He said:“Her doctors will continue to assess her condition, including other issues associated with her concussion. They will determine if any further action is required.”It is believed that her blood clot is the result of a concussion she suffered when she fainted in early December.It has not been confirmed where her blood clot formed, but speculation is that it could have been in her lower leg due to prolonged rest.We wish the best of luck to Hilary in her recovery!Our thoughts are with her and her family.[Image via WENN.]
