Just Too Excited For Justin Bieber's Photo; Fallen Paparazzo Was A 'Sweet Guy'
Tuesday's incident was a prime example of the less-than-stellar safety practices of the paparazzi, but Chris Guerra was a human and a loved one before anything else. And even though he shouldn't have been putting himself — or others for that matter — in danger, his memory shouldn't be heavily tarnished with the collective opinion of the general paparazzi. Before being struck by another car in pursuit of the perfect Justin Bieber photo, Chris was a "sweet, cool guy" according to one of his fellow shutterbugs. The 29-year-old was always nice to the celebrities, he says, continuing with: "You would never get into any scuffle or argument with him. He never wanted to piss off anybody, was nice to all the celebrities and paps. He never had a problem with any guys. He was not your ordinary mosquito. He wasn't a crazy pap. He would just get too excited. He would jump out and be careless. He would get too excited and run after someone without thinking."Sigh… this is just too too tragic. As we've been discussing, Chris thought he was onto something after seeing what he believed to be Bieber smoking pot behind the wheel on New Year's Day. Having staked his car out at Beverly Hills' Four Season hotel, Chris jumped at the moment to capture it on film when he saw Bieber's white Ferrari exiting the parking lot. But Justin wasn't even in the car then. That was Lil' Twist…. And after California Highway Patrol told Chris to move away from the Ferrari during a routine traffic stop, Chris was hit by an oncoming car as he crossed Sepulveda. We really hope this becomes the catalyst for safer paparazzi protocol… and we really hope his family and friends can get through this with as much peace as possible. [Image via WENN.]
