Katy Perry Spills On Her Hopes For An Oscar Win!
One Teenage Dream could quite possibly come true for Katy Perry, when Oscar nominations are announced on January 10th!While Katy has already racked up numerous awards and accolades, including nine Grammy nominations, one song of hers just might make the cut for this year’s Academy Awards! Mz. Perry’s Wide Awake track, featured in her concert flick, Katy Perry: Part Of Me, could earn her an Oscar nom for best song!So, what would winning the gold statue mean to the songbird?Katy recently gushed:
"It's like a dream's dream. When I was growing up and working on music, it was always a dream to win a Grammy, but Oscar was so far out of my dream sphere. This would be a nomination of a completely different caliber. One that is more impressive than many other ones I've had. It's interesting to step out of your playing field and to be recognized from a different angle. It would be an honor."As she should be! How AH-Mazing receiving a nomination would be… let alone winning the award!The songstress continued:"I would never let it leave my side. I'd take it on tour and take pictures of it with me around the world."
