WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Transportation Departments says 149 control towers at small airports that were slated for closure will remain -- open at least through Sept. 30.

At 9am Friday the stage was 45.6 feet.

Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.  Flood stage is 41.0 feet.

The River rose above flood stage and will continue rising to near 45.7 feet by Saturday May 11. Additional rises may be possible thereafter.

At 46.0 feet, casinos are open and unaffected.
