Shelby County Health Department officials have confirmed cases of the gastrointestinal stomach bug known as the Norovirus is aggressively spreading through the county.

Four cases have been reported by the county since the start of the year.

Two Memphis lawmakers are pushing for a state-funded gun buy-back program. They plan is to take cash from the criminals through court fees to fund it.

The Memphis Police Department is on the hunt for an accused sexual predator. Officers say he's responsible for attacking a woman last December.

The 19-year-old told police she was walking near Germantown Parkway and Dexter when a man forced her into his car and assaulted her physically and sexually.
