Columbia man pleads guilty in BP case

HATTIESBURG, Miss. (AP) - A Columbia man has pleaded guilty to one count of his indictment, charging him with filing false claims for Deepwater Horizon oil spill relief funding.

Man dies in Hattiesburg mobile home fire

HATTIESBURG, Miss. (AP) - Hattiesburg authorities are still investigating a mobile home fire that claimed the life of a man.

Lane of I-40 to close temporarily in central Ark.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Officials say a lane of Interstate 40 will be closed temporarily as crews work on a bridge in Lonoke County.
